Every day at the Doddagaddavalli Lakshmi Devi Temple, divine rituals are performed to honor Goddess Mahalakshmi, the embodiment of grace, abundance, and purity. The morning and evening poojas follow age-old Hoysala traditions, beginning with the sound of temple bells and the fragrance of sandalwood, filling the shrine with serenity.

The Archana — a sacred offering made in the goddess’s name — is performed with devotion, chanting her 108 divine names. Devotees participate in these poojas to seek blessings for health, prosperity, harmony, and spiritual upliftment.

Each ritual here reflects the timeless discipline and devotion of the Hoysala era — from the meticulous preparation of flowers and lamps to the rhythmic chanting of mantras that echo through the temple’s stone corridors. The experience of witnessing the goddess adorned in silk, jewels, and flowers during the evening pooja leaves devotees with a sense of divine peace and fulfillment.

Participating in the Daily Pooja & Archana is not just a ritual — it’s an invitation to connect with the goddess’s energy and experience inner calm and abundance.
